Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Ladies and Gentleman, Children of all ages please allow me to introduce you to Anna Maria Grosholtz bettter know as Madame Tussaud of Madame Tussauds Wax Museums around the world. Her wax works are as facinating as she and her life story and well worthy of historic note. Having visited several of her museums I have had the pleasure of meeting many celebrities and historic figures created with such fine, remarkable detail that one would swear these figures are alive and well. Her secret techniques have been taught to only the most gifted artists and carried on in a manner that would make her proud.

Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas
Located In A Tower
One of my favorite museums is located in Las Vegas, Nevada on the property of the Venetian Hotel and Casino. You cant miss Madame Tussauds since it is in the Tower. Inside is many floors of displays all of which you are allowed to not only photograph but actually touch! A wonderful touch was that the staff here are more then happy to use your camera to photograph your entire party together with the figures. I cant count how many times I "was not" in a photo always being the camera man! Upon leaving the tower a great gift shop is well stocked with Madame Tussaud souvenirs.
Greeted by Michael Jordan
We were greeted by Michael Jordan, Pro Basketball Player at the door. I cannot explain to you how realistic this image is down to the finest detail. He, as in all the figures, are life size to scale. Im sure this would be the only chance I have to stand next to him.
Children get a real kick out of sport figures. One cant realize how big some of them are unless you are next to them. Here at Madame Tussauds is the closest you can get to that!
Stuck for a school Report?
Madame Tussaud was a woman way ahead of her time. A writter, poet, artist and much more in a world where woman had few rights. Her life story is amazing and would make a wonderful school report.

This is a very special exhibit of Lucille Ball in was for all to enjoy. It really amazed me. Her beauty was often overlooked due to her comedy skits but truly she was a beautiful woman and a pioneer in comedy where women were few. How this process of reproduction is done remains a secret and I assure you the details are just astounding.
John Wayne The Duke
King of all Cowboys
As I roamed from room to room of various exhibits I came face to face with the Head Honcho, The Legend, The Ultimate Cowboy, The King of the West, The Duke Himself.....John Wayne. I grew up with The Duke, not that he was of my generation but because he was of My Fathers generation. My Father not only saw every John Wayne movie but owned them and in my youth, having only one TV in the house, if The Duke was on you were watching him. Standing next to his image makes you realize what a big man he was. Some how Tussauds captured his persona of a real mans man. Tough, strong yet wise and caring. Thats what real art is, the ability and talent to "Capture" the very essense of the person or scene. A must see!
